Campaign Update

From day one, this campaign has been about service to Georgia’s 13th and delivering serious, strategic leadership. As this race has evolved, the field has become increasingly crowded, including with candidates who I believe are not prepared for the responsibility of representing this district. We cannot afford a fractured vote that sends the wrong kind of leadership to Washington. After carefully evaluating the dynamics of this race and what it will take to protect the future of GA-13, I have come to the difficult conclusion that my remaining in the race could increase the chances of an outcome that does not reflect the best interests of our community. For that reason, I have decided to suspend my campaign. I am deeply grateful to every volunteer, supporter, and donor who believed in this vision. The work does not stop here. My commitment to Georgia’s 13th remains as strong as ever.
